Pocketdad in Cornwall - Tony P's 60th Birthday weekend
Yup, the site is out of date, the galleries don't work yet and I'm rubbish at adding the news and stuff, you'll live.

Anyway, recently the 'Dad went down' to Cornwall and had a wonderful time rocking the life out of the place for my Dad's 60th birthday. It ended up being a lengthy event [ pained over by my Mum for 12 months ] consisting of the usual 'rockstar' carry-on - McDonalds, Travel Lodge, dinner with the parents, that kind of thing - proper 'life-on-the-edge' tackle. I think one day we even had McD's twice - were pretty rad when we get going.....

...oh yeh and snorting rum! My Dad is 60 years old, got me wrecked and made me snort rum in some Neanderthal height-pi**ing contest - to which I stupidly took the bait. And not some standard rum either, it was some 'special' aviation-fuel-horse-shit pressed upon him by his crazy 'Navy SBS' buddies who must do this for a laugh at breakfast! Don't do it, it still hurts...

Must say thanks to Billy & the [ Caine ] chaps for looking after us.

Anyway, that's me done and remember, if your Dad offers you drink, make sure its not on a teaspoon...

adsa tickled pink breast cancer campaign
We rocked at the [ Royal Armouries ] in Leeds for the ASDA 'Tickled Pink' breast cancer campaign. You know how much the lads in the 'Dad' appreciate breasts, hell - some of us have them! It was a special night and seemed to be enjoyed by all, even the woman sat by the bin throwing her guts up was very polite when asked if she needed assistance!!! A warm crowd and successul auction made the whole thing a pleasure to be involved in, thanks very much to Anne from all the 'Dad' lads.

It's a great cause that needs your support and we would love for you to make a [ donation ], please follow the links to find out more.

Tickled Pink wristbands and pin badges are on sale in ASDA stores for only £1 with over 70p going straight to breast cancer charities.

a little about the band pocketdad

We don't really care where we play and we'll come round to yours and get pissed for the right money.

Despite our seeming lack of interest for pretty much everything, there is a surprising amount of talent lurking within the bounds of this gathering. Who else can lay claim to such a front-man?
Captured here looking like he has just ridden down from the foothills of Georgia aloft a sweating pig, simultaneously frightening the life out of huge 'pub-fighting' men with his unique brand of free-form trombone?!

"Squeal like a pig boy...."

Or more accurately, squeal like a collection of curly, bell-ended tubes, blown inside out by a large 'moon-headed' man below a ridiculous hat.

With big love to all
The Chunky Prince
